After the success of the just released Rock Against Hate Volumes 5 & 6 (benefiting Planned Parenthood & Kids In Need of Defense (KIND), I don't want to rest. I'd much rather jump right into working on another Rock Against Hate compilation to counteract what this administration is doing.
Of course that is only possible if there is interest from musicians.
The thought is to release the next volume (or volumes if we have a lot of songs contributed) in early June, for one or more LGBTQ+ causes (ex. The Trevor Project, Project R.E.A.L. (Asbury Park), No More Dysphoria).
The most important part right now, if you want to submit a song for the compilation(s) please let me know. The song must be original (no covers). The song should be previously unreleased (which could include a live version, acoustic version, or remix). The deadline to receive the songs will be early May, so there are 3 months to work on this.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
And please, feel free to spread the word to other musicians. It would be wonderful for the response to be so huge that we could release multiple compilations to help out a myriad of LGBTQ+ non-profits that will need the help.
